COMPATIBILITY OF THE WRITTEN EXAMS TO THE PRINCIPLE OF REALIBITY OF ASSESSMENT
The evaluation process plays a role in the educational life of any person to some extent, and all teachers need to be aware of the mentioned duty in the learning and teaching process. There are a number of principles that should be considered during the process of choosing a method to assess student achievements. One of the referred principles is the principle of reliability. With the correct application of a principle that the article focuses on, students’ confidence in the measurement tool and evaluation process will have an ability to be increased and the obtained consequences will be useful for the next time to make a comparison. As it is impossible to define a standard answer for the mentioned type of examination, written exams are a measurement tool that should be prepared and analyzed more carefully than other measurement tools. All students can have an approach to the question from a different point of view. In addition, the teacher who analyzes the answers can evaluate given answers in different ways. According to the explained reason, the reliability principles require specific attention during the preparation of exam questions. In the article, the essence of the assessment process, how the measuring instrument should be structured according to the principle of reliability of assessment, the methods of construction were examined and solutions were proposed for the problems that were revealed.
