Nizami Ganjavi is one of the rare literary masters the Azerbaijani people have gifted to the world. The humanistic ideas reflected in the poet’s works, such as morality, education, respect and love for humanity, valuing hardworking individuals, fairness, duty to parents, protection of our religious, national, and spiritual values, peace-loving, care for nature, etc., have been passed down from generation to generation and continue to this day. The strength of Nizami’s genius is reflected in his spirit of modernity. There is no field in human thought or matters related to the life of nature and society where Nizami’s works have not expressed an opinion. The topic we will discuss - the presentation of the world in its green attire, the preservation of living nature, which concerns the whole world, as well as the rich facts about the protection of soil, water, flora, and fauna on our planet — is widely reflected in the legacy of Nizami Ganjavi.
