QUALITY INDICATORS OF EDUCATION IN INTERNATIONAL PRACTICE, THE MECHANISMS STIMULATING THE DEVELOPMENT OF EDUCATION, THE GRANT SYSTEM




Allocation of funds for education plays a crucial role in the supplement of qualitative education and teaching resources. There are several specific opportunities in which funding for education can contribute to the quality of education. This study presents several mechanisms based on international experience that play a role in improving the quality of education: 1) Recruiting high-quality teaching staff to educational institutions: Alluring high-quality staff to the educational institution by offering higher wages and proper working conditions. 2) Providing educational institutions with instructional resources: purchase of teaching materials such as textbooks, ICT, and other resources. 3) Establishing safe and supportive learning environments: Funding can be used to maintain and improve school facilities, set up safe and supportive learning environments, and provide students with an access to mental health and social support services. 4) Improving curriculum and instructional methods: an adequate funding can be used to carry out the implementation of high-quality curriculum and instructional practice strategies. Overall, it makes possible to achieve the improvement of the quality of education by allocating funding for education and applying it appropriately.
