PERSPECTIVES OF APPLICATION OF ICT IN THE TEACHING OF BIOLOGY

The article discusses the prospects for the use of information and communication technologies in the teaching of biology. The role of electronic resources required for modern and quality education in the effective organization of education is also mentioned. It is noted that the lesson taught using ICT is a qualitatively new type of lesson. Given the age and psychological characteristics of the learners, visibility should prevail in the lessons. As a rule, posters and tables accompanied by illustrations are outdated due to physical and mental indicators. Therefore, various computer programs, which replace many teaching resources, allow teachers to take more interesting and non-standard approaches to teaching. As a result of research, it has been found that despite the predominance of new technologies in modern times, they are rarely used in the educational process. The aim of the research is to take into account the prospects of new technologies, to show the possibility of their purposeful use in biology classes to achieve better results.
