THE AZERBAIJAN JOURNAL OF EDUCATIONAL STUDIES IS AN INTEGRAL PART OF OUR NATIONAL AND CULTURAL HERITAGE

The Azerbaijan Journal of Educational Studies, the scientific-theoretical and pedagogical journal of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, which is considered one of the leading forces in the formation of the Azerbaijani pedagogical opinion, is the longest-lived pedagogical press in our country. Throughout its activity, the journal has supported our education system in complex situations, stood guard over our newly formed science, Azerbaijani pedagogical thought, and our schools, braved the pressures of the times, and acted as a close friend and colleague of teachers and pedagogical staff. It has also served as a promoter and researcher of new ideas, advanced pedagogical practices, innovations, and technologies. The name of the Azerbaijan Journal of Educational Studies is also mentioned among the well-known pedagogical journals throughout the USSR. The history of the development of Azerbaijani education has also been refined on the same level as the history of our pedagogical thought. The most valuable pedagogical ideas spread, first and foremost, through the pedagogical press, starting from the period when they were first published in the Azerbaijan Journal of Educational Studies. The article presents the creation of the Azerbaijan Journal of Educational Studies, its historical stages, and its place and role in the history of Azerbaijani pedagogical science and Azerbaijani press. At the same time, it provides information about our outstanding educators who made important contributions to the development of our pedagogical press history.
