AN OVERVIEW OF HEYDAR ALIYEV AND AZERBAIJANI LITERATURE

Prominent literary figures of Azerbaijan converse about Great Leader Heydar Aliyev with deep gratitude. A folk poet Bakhtiyar  Vahabzade known as a potent Azerbaijani, Turkic and Turanist brings forth the artistic image of H.Aliyev in his scientific and publicistic articles, interviews, letters and socio-political poems and plays. Heydar Aliyev and Azerbaijaniism issues were closely addressed in the poet’s work. The worthwhile research works dedicated to Heydar Aliyev have been written by our prominent literary critics-scientists. Additionally, the brilliant image of the National Leader was embodied by our literary and artistic figures. In this article, the essence of the ideas and thoughts of science and culture figures toward Heydar Aliyev is expressed.
