COACHING IN THE CONTEXT OF LIFELONG LEARNING AS A PEDAGOGICAL TOOL FOR IMPROVING PERSONAL QUALITIES

As additional education plays an important role in the flexible satisfaction of the educational needs of a globalizing world, human resource management, personnel reform, teacher mobility, and business activity of specialists, the importance of its organization models increases and there is a need for new pedagogical tools for the formation of experience, career growth, special skills, and other necessary business qualities. In this regard, it is important to use coaching as a tool. The article analyzes the historical stages of development through which coaching passes and explains its purpose and essence. The co-authors considered coaching as a model of additional education in the system of continuing education. The results of scientific research demonstrate that to acquire the necessary business qualities noted in the modern era, workers and students do not have enough time and enthusiasm to return to university classrooms once again. At the same time, the allocation of additional funds for developing the business skills of staff and improving their professionalism is often not of economic interest to employers. Under such kind of conditions, there is a need to introduce based on new models of the organization of additional education that meet the educational needs of citizens and people engaged in activities in the various spheres of economic, political, and socio-cultural life. In this regard, it is possible to consider coaching, as one of the new models of the organization of additional education, as a convenient tool for improving personal and business qualities.
