COLLABORATION BETWEEN PARENTS AND TEACHERS IN INCLUSIVE EDUCATION: CHALLENGES AND SOLUTIONS

Inclusive education is a humanistic approach that aims to ensure equal and quality access for every student, especially those with special educational needs. Collaboration between parents and teachers plays a crucial role in this approach. Because the role of both parties in the education of children is important. The main purpose of the article is to identify the challenges encountered in the inclusive education environment and to propose possible solutions to overcome these challenges. Based on various studies, including the works of scholars such as Epstein (2001) and Florian and Black-Hawkins (2011), it is demonstrated that effective collaboration is a fundamental pillar of quality inclusive education. One of the biggest problems in inclusive education is that parents and teachers are not sufficiently informed about the process. This complicates the work of both parties and leads to misunderstandings between them. The article emphasizes the importance of increasing collaboration between parents and teachers for inclusive education to achieve success.
