EXPLORING TEACHERS’ PERCEPTIONS OF LIFELONG LEARNING




The purpose of the study is to determine the level of perception of lifelong learning among general education teachers and whether it varies according to different variables. For the research is used screening model of quantitative method. İn the research was used lifelong learning dispositions scale which were created by Erdogan and Arsal (2016) and personal information sheet were used to obtain
demographic information about teachers. Data which was obtained through questionnaire was distribued normally and because of that parametric analyze metod was chosen in accordance with independent group t-test and One-Way Anova tests were used. As a result, teachers lifelong learning perception level is determined moderate. There is found no statistical difference according to different variables such as age, gender, marital status, graducation degree, which subject is being taught, pedagogical experience.
