THEORETICAL AND PRACTICAL BASIS OF ORGANIZATION OF INDEPENDENT WORK OF STUDENTS IN DISTANCE EDUCATION




In modern times, distance education which has a significant impact on the socio-economic development of society is rapidly improving. The article considers the theoretical and practical bases of the organization of independent work of students and the application of new technologies in distance education. The advantages of distance education, its social, psychological and pedagogical points of view, as well as the information between teachers and students, principles that characterize the specific of distance education features are also reflected. Problems arising during the application of active and inactive methods in the independent activity of students, ways to solve them through a defined algorithm, examples of types of tasks on this algorithm are shown. For example, types of knowledge related to web research for independent work of students; types of tasks related to the organization of interaction in the process of independent work of students; types of assignments aimed at creating web pages for students' independent work. It is noted that distance learning provides a good basis for the teacher to determine the presentation of source material, the level of students' practical assignments and the degree of individualization of assignments through various forms of independent work.
