BAKHTIYAR VAHABZADEH’S IDEALS OF A HAPPY PEOPLE AND A HAPPY HOMELAND

The article discusses the artistic and aesthetic embodiment of the ideas and ideals of love for the people and patriotism in the poetry of the prominent Azerbaijani poet Bakhtiyar Vahabzadeh, as well as the poet’s feelings, views, desires, and aspirations regarding national independence. The interrelations among the images of the poet, the citizen, and the homeland are analyzed. The artistic and philosophical understanding of these relations and their main essence becomes the object of analysis. The article also focuses on the artist’s concerns about the sorrows of a divided homeland and the ideal of a unified homeland. During the analysis, specific examples from the artist’s poetry are referenced. It is emphasized that we should study the ideas and ideals of B. Vahabzadeh and teach them to the younger generation. Because B. Vahabzadeh’s creative work plays a significant role in the upbringing of the younger generation.
