STUDENT ACHIEVEMENTS AT THE GENERAL EDUCATION LEVEL AS A KEY TOOL FOR MONITORING THE QUALITY OF EDUCATION

This article explores the role of student achievements at the general education level as a key tool for monitoring the quality of education. It emphasizes that assessing students’ knowledge, skills, and competencies is crucial for evaluating the effectiveness of the teaching process, identifying shortcomings, and improving educational outcomes. Measuring education quality through student performance and implementing preventive measures based on these results are essential for the continuous enhancement of teaching practices and the timely and effective achievement of educational goals. Such an approach ensures transparency in the education system, optimizes the work of both teachers and students, and ultimately contributes to raising the quality of education. Therefore, the education quality control system should be based on objective, systematic, and scientifically grounded approaches centered on student achievements. Drawing on scientific sources, the article highlights the motivational role of quality control in the teaching process and its contribution to students’ self-assessment and sense of responsibility. In this context, the importance of clearly defining quality indicators, improving assessment tools, and ensuring the continuous professional development of teachers is underscored. The paper concludes that, under modern conditions, enhancing education management at both theoretical and practical levels and fostering a culture of quality are essential for the sustainable development and competitiveness of education.
