THE PECULIARITY OF ONLINE PHYSICS TEACHING IN VII GRADES OF SECONDARY SCHOOLS

Since 2019, people's lifestyle has undergone significant changes regarding the spread of the COVID-19 virus in Azerbaijan, as in the rest of the world. Also, these changes have manifested themselves in education, and as a result, the educational process in general education institutions has become online. Therefore, it appeared severe problems in teaching several subjects, including physics. The importance of a new technological approach to acquiring knowledge and physics skills, especially in the lower secondary classes, has increased. The most urgent issue was the systematic mastering of knowledge in physics through the online platform. The article reviews the difficulties of online physics teaching in the VII grade and various ways to overcome them. It is shown an example of an online lesson on the topic “Graphic description of motion” in VII grade based on the 7E model, and all stages of the lesson are described in detail. It is noted that it is possible to improve the lesson's quality using virtual laboratories and computer models using Microsoft Teams capabilities. This fact is highly dependent on the correct application of models' didactic objectives through online learning for VII grade students in physics topics which are considered challenging to understand and difficult to achieve learning outcomes.
